The Wilkinson’s lab is interested in studying the role of autophagy in tissue homeostasis and cancer. As part of this team, I am focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying the selective degradation of the endoplasmic reticulum by autophagy (i.e. ER-phagy) as well as identifying new players in this pathway and determine their physiological relevance.
